Some parts of the site contain ads, but standard shortened links never redirect through an ad page or waiting page.

No. In general, there is no expiration date. Shortened URLs you create can be used indefinitely, regardless of your plan.

No. Standard shortened links do not show one. When you open a shortened URL, you are taken directly to the destination without an ad page or waiting page in between.

Yes. You can use it for commercial purposes.

Yes. When creating a shortened URL, you can specify it in the format x.gd/[your-custom-text] from the options.

With the Free Max plan, you can change the redirect destination from the settings screen for shortened URLs created in your account.

Yes. Shortened URLs created with the Free Plus plan or higher can have redirects disabled from the settings screen.

You can open the analytics page by adding “+” to the end of the shortened URL. For example, if the shortened URL is “https://x.gd/demo”, open “https://x.gd/demo+”.

You can disable analytics from the options when creating a shortened URL. With the Free Plus plan or higher, you can also keep analytics enabled while making them private so only you can view them.

For shortened URLs created with the Free Plus plan or higher, you can check the password from the dashboard settings.

Yes. X.gd does not restrict access by region and is used from more than 200 countries and regions worldwide.

Yes. As with any web service, we cannot guarantee that X.gd will be available forever. However, X.gd is not operated primarily for profit and is designed with long-term, reliable use in mind. As a result, it is less exposed to the risk of shutting down because of monetization or operating-cost issues, which are common challenges for URL shortening services.

Yes. X.gd continuously monitors for abuse such as phishing using its own abuse-detection system. Much of the abuse is detected and restricted automatically, and we also work directly with security organizations to identify threats early and respond quickly.
